Regulatory Compliance
Our business activities are conducted subject to applicable mining, mineral trading, customs, tax, transport, export, and other regulatory requirements.
Legally Sourced Minerals & Licensed Mining Partners
Minerals handled or marketed through our business must come from legitimate and appropriately documented sources. We seek to work with mining companies and suppliers operating under the relevant licences, permits, or authorisations required in their jurisdictions.
Authority to Market & Sell
Where we sell or market minerals on behalf of mining companies, the relationship is governed by appropriate contracts, mandates, or other written authorisation.
Know Your Customer (KYC) & Due Diligence
We may require appropriate identification and business documentation from buyers, suppliers, mandates, agents, and other counterparties before proceeding with transactions.
Anti-Money Laundering
Humtal Mining Logistics does not knowingly participate in transactions involving proceeds of crime, fraud, money laundering, or other unlawful activities, and we support legitimate and transparent payment arrangements.
Product & Ownership Verification
Mineral products offered for transactions should be supported by appropriate documentation and verification of lawful ownership or authority to sell, quantity, and grade.
Export & Import Compliance
Cross-border mineral transactions are subject to the applicable export, import, customs, tax, and mineral-trading requirements of Zambia, the DRC, and the destination country, and are supported by the applicable customs and commercial documentation required for lawful cross-border movement.
Responsible Mineral Sourcing
We support responsible and legitimate mineral sourcing and appropriate supply-chain due diligence, particularly for precious metals and minerals originating from higher-risk areas, and reserve the right to reject transactions where the origin, ownership, documentation, or legality of the minerals cannot be reasonably established.
Transport Compliance
Our trucking and logistics operations are coordinated in accordance with applicable road transport, customs, cargo, border, and safety requirements.
Contracts & Agreements
Commercial transactions may be subject to written agreements setting out specifications, quantities, pricing, payment arrangements, delivery terms, responsibilities, commissions, and other applicable conditions.
Buyer Mandates & Commissions
Agents, brokers, mandates, or introducers who bring qualified buyers to Humtal Mining Logistics may be eligible for commission where this has been agreed and documented in writing. Commission is not automatically earned merely by providing a contact. Eligibility, amount, payment conditions, and the parties entitled to commission will be determined by the applicable written agreement and successful completion of the qualifying transaction.
Zambia–DRC Cross-Border Operations
Our position within the Zambia–DRC mineral supply chain requires careful coordination between mining companies, buyers, transporters, clearing agents, insurers, inspection providers, and relevant authorities. We therefore place strong emphasis on traceability, proper documentation, regulatory compliance, and transparent commercial arrangements before mineral cargo is moved across borders.
Zero Tolerance for Illegal Mineral Trade
Humtal Mining Logistics does not support the purchase, sale, transportation, or export of minerals that are knowingly stolen, illegally mined, fraudulently documented, or otherwise traded contrary to applicable law. Where documentation, ownership, origin, or authority to sell cannot be satisfactorily established, we reserve the right to decline the transaction.
Confidentiality
We respect commercially sensitive information provided by our clients and business partners. Confidential information is handled responsibly and used for legitimate business purposes, subject to contractual obligations and applicable law.
Due Diligence
Humtal Mining Logistics reserves the right to conduct due diligence and request supporting documentation before entering into any mineral transaction or commercial relationship. Where information cannot be satisfactorily verified, we reserve the right to decline or discontinue the proposed transaction.
